[IMAGE] Monastery Of The Ascension bookstore carries a variety of books on spirituality, theology, Benedictine history and spirituality, and biblical studies; religious cards, medals, recorded music and Christian art.

We try to carry religious goods of artistic merit and books of solid content. Special orders are welcomed; if you can include the ISBN number when your special order books it will make our work much easier.

[IMAGE] Benedictine monasteries have always been known for their libraries. Ours is still small, but it is growing steadily. Anyone may use books and periodicals here or check circulating items out. Much of the cataloging, processing and shelving in the library is done by volunteers.

The library has a computerized catalog. If you would like to know about the library,
